On 1/13 I went in for a routine sonogram and was told I'd need to be admitted and induced. I did not want that but I had little choice because she wasn't growing as well as she should have been for 36 weeks. They called it intra uterine growth restriction & said my placenta wasn't providing enough nourishment for the baby to grow. 

I'll spare you the gorey details but on 1/15 they gave up the induction and performed a C section. Unfortunately that didn't go well. The medication didn't numb me well enough and I felt everything. I could feel them cutting, pulling, reaching in, EVERYTHING. I cried out that I could feel it but no one understood that I was in pain until I started screaming. Then they put me out. But not before I heard my babys first cry.
