I'm stealing a moment of peace as the day draws to a close. I got a nap in thanks to Daddy Coutts. I was and still am very grateful for that.

I am happy with the day. I kept up the house and did my best with her.

She is sleeping, I'm in bed on the lap top watching Halloween shows on tv (Legend of Dracula - History channel). I thoroughly enjoyed a piece of pumpkin pie with cool whip and a cup of cinnamon vanilla coffee. Shivers with bliss... Yum!

He came in, returning from Rays Market, and told me that he'd be going over to Rays house sunday to play spades, leaving me with her on my birthday. He tried to sound positive saying that she'd be asleep and I would have the place to myself.

He looked uneasy as he said it. I smiled and said "Are you wondering what I want for my birthday?" He was looking down at the ground but looked up, smiled, and said that yeah, he was.

I told him that I wanted to go on a real date, drop Doodles off at her grandmothers then go out on our date. Pick her up and put her to bed when we get in, then while she's asleep fool around some before he heads out to Rays.

I'm not putting any expectations on him with regards to the foolin around. He isn't holding his breath with regards to her staying asleep and not interrupting or completely derailing any plans for some lovin. I don't blame him.
